As a hotel guest but as well as an external guest, we are happy to welcome you in our cozy restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
A warm Engadine-style dining room awaits you, completely clad in Swiss pine wood.
Our menu is small, but we value high-quality and freshly prepared dishes. This principle also applies to our daily half-board menu, which we are happy to offer also to our external guests.
Our breakfast buffet
We like to offer a high quality breakfast and we try to use local products wherever possible.
We get the cheese directly from the cheese dairies in Sent, Ftan or Samnaun. The dried meat called “Bündnerfleisch”, raw ham, salsiz and fried bacon all are regional products.
Our freshly baked bread is delivered directly from the bakery in Scuol. We make jams ourselves, without flavor enhancers or preservatives. Our coffee is also roasted in the Engadine by Badilatti, which is by the way the highest roastery in the world.
Our garden terrace in the park
We open our garden terrace in summer when the weather does allow it. At lunchtime and in the evening, we serve the offer from our menu.
In the afternoon we serve drinks and pastries as well as our “Waldhaus coffee” which is served in silver jugs from the Hotel Waldhaus.
For dinner, we strongly recommend you to reserve a table in advance as space is limited.

Our halfboard menu
Our half-board menu consists of 4 courses. It is our aim to offer non-everyday seasonal starters and soups in the half board menu. The main course has a vegetarian dish or a meat dish. Pork does not appear in the menu. On the side we show some examples from our halfboard menu.
- Half board surcharge when booking your stay: CHF 29.00 (only bookable for the entire stay and no refund)
- Half board price per day for hotel guests if reserved before 11:00 a.m.: CHF 35.00
- Half board price per day for hotel guests without prior reservation: CHF 40.00
- Price for à la carte guests: CHF 52.00
