As soon as you enter the lobby you will smell the sweet scent of the pine wood, from which almost all furniture and fixtures are made. Step into the cozy fireplace room, enjoy a fine nightcap while your eyes discover the antiques from the old spa period in Vulpera.

Room in pine wood
Our rooms are bright, cozy, tasteful and to stay true to the Engadine style, furnished in pine or spruce wood. We have 16 double rooms and 9 single rooms. Deluxe rooms have 25m2 or more. Each room has an individual floor plan and no two rooms are alike. All rooms and bathrooms were renovated in 2019.

The most important in a nutshell
- We are closed 2 times a year as a two-season operation. As a rule, we cannot be booked from mid-March to mid-May and from the end of October to mid-December. We will close on October 19, 2025 and will be back for you from December 19, 2025.
- Our restaurant is open for house and external guests.
- If you book through our website, the cancellation is free of charge until 8 days before arrival.
Location
Quiet and yet central
The traditional vacation resort Vulpera (1270 m above sea level) is not far from Scuol. It is a 15-minute walk to the center of Scuol with a wide range of restaurants, cafes and stores. The hotel is almost at the end of a one-way street and traffic is limited to the drives of the few residents.
5 minutes walk from the hotel is the golf course of Vulpera. It is the oldest golf course in the Engadine and the outdoor swimming pool of Vulpera, which invites you to swim on nice summer days, dates back to the same time.
Vulpera is an ideal starting point for wonderful hikes and bike tours in an area that offers everything your heart desires. Rugged, rocky gorges, beautiful shady forests, lovely landscapes with small lakes and streams. In spring, walks along the wonderfully blooming meadows are a pleasure and in autumn the landscape enchants the soul in golden colors.

Small family-run hotels are part of Switzerland’s cultural heritage. It is sad but true that there are fewer year after year because small hotels are no longer economical. The special thing about these hotels are the owners, who are also hosts themselves and put a lot of passion into it.
With 25 rooms, our house is one of the small hotels in Switzerland. We cannot offer as many services as larger hotels, but with us you are our guest and we receive and look after you personally. We want you to feel comfortable as a guest with us and we and our employees do everything in our power to achieve this goal.
With your booking in our hotel, you support the preservation of Swiss cultural assets and lived Swiss hospitality. We are looking forward to your visit.
