Our small family-run hotel is for those who enjoy peace and relaxation in an alpine and historic ambience. As soon as you enter the lobby, you will smell the sweet scent of Swiss stone pine, from which almost all the furniture and fittings are made. Room in pine wood
Our rooms are bright, cozy, tasteful and to stay true to the Engadine style, furnished in pine or spruce wood. We have 16 double rooms and 9 single rooms. Deluxe rooms have 25m2 or more. Each room has an individual floor plan and no two rooms are alike. All rooms and bathrooms were renovated in 2019.

The most important in a nutshell
- We are closed 2 times a year as a two-season operation. As a rule, we are not available for booking from mid-March to mid-May and from late October to mid-December. We close on October 22, 2023 and are effective from December 23, 2023 again for you.
- Our restaurant is open for house and external guests. We recommend booking half board when you book your room.
- If you book through our website, the cancellation is free of charge until 8 days before arrival.
Location
Quiet and yet central
The traditional vacation resort of Vulpera (1270 m above sea level) is not far from Scuol. It is a 15-minute walk to the center of Scuol with its wide range of restaurants, cafés and stores. The hotel is situated almost at the end of a one-way street and traffic is limited to the few local residents. The Vulpera golf course is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It is the oldest golf course in the Engadin and the Vulpera outdoor swimming pool, which invites you to swim on beautiful summer days, dates from the same period. Vulpera is an ideal starting point for wonderful hikes and bike tours in an area that offers everything your heart desires. Rugged, rocky gorges, beautiful shady forests, lovely landscapes with small lakes and streams. In spring, hikes along the wonderfully blooming meadows are a delight and in autumn the landscape enchants the soul with its golden colors.

Small family-run hotels are part of Switzerland’s cultural heritage. It is sad but true that there are fewer and fewer of them every year because small hotels are no longer economically viable. The special thing about these hotels is the owners, who are also hosts themselves and put their heart and soul into them. With 25 rooms, our hotel is one of the smaller hotels in Switzerland. We cannot offer as many services as larger hotels, but with us you are our guest and we welcome and look after you personally. We want you to feel at home with us as our guest and we and our staff do everything we can to achieve this goal.
